dragonfly

finally was able to capture a dragonfly, only the second one ever so I was happy with this one.

was thrilled to catch ONE shot of this fast little red dragonfly.  blown up even closer:

broken dragonfly

this landed near us on a recent walk and we wern't sure what it was

later I blew it up and I am pretty sure its a dragonfly with a broken tail. 

we saw a ton of them near the river eating below but could not get a picture of one because they would not sit still.

there were thousands of these things all over the place.  good thing there was lots of dragonflys.

this was amazing the stitching was amazing

this quilt was made so that both sides could be enjoyed.

for me the piece work always amazes me how they can bring different fabrics together to make one thing.

are you bored with quilts yet??? well there were almost 1300 quilts at teh show and after an entire day there I only took 200 pictures and most have NOT made it on my blog site.
