wohooo my book arrived a few days ago and these are a couple of shots of it. I had a picture published in the book by chuck sambuchino. its a political humor book. he found my picture on flickr and asked if he could use it so of course I said yes. I have photo credits in the book but no money, thats ok with me just fun to see a picture in a book.
the saying was done by Chuck but funny enough I say something very close to that all the time. I say like it leave it.
To make shadows you need light something we haven't seen much since we have had a million days of rain. But Monday there was a bit of sunshine after work so the dog and I walked. Taken with my phone and edited in snapseed
this was the first long road trip for our dog Duncan. He was so good in the car too. most of the trip he slept getting up for water, treats and potty stops is all.
of course we brought along his favorite blanket and a new toy to keep him company.
bet you are glad I finally got somewhere with all these posts right? haha well I am the weekend warrior so need to spread out the trip.
we stopped for lunch here and enjoyed the view. so proud of our little chunky monkey dog for making the trip too. he is really a couch potato and its hard for those little legs to go but he did. and of course he got some good lunch too. one quick pose and we were headed back down the mountain.
springtime photo opt for the dog. it was just killing him to because a squirrel was just over the fence. Oh well I got 3 shots in before losing his attention this was my favorite.
The tree and decorations are up and Duncan has decided to dress up a bit for the moment. hmmm looks like someone needs a haircut. looks more like a pauper waiting for his coal for christmas. hahaha.

with fall comes less traveling and less time outside for me because I really hate the cold so posts may come a little less often but may try some new techniques on older pictures and other ideas to keep my motivated so you never know what will show up next.
working on some ideas for 2012 to present when they are all ready to go I will announce them. Anything you would like to see more of or less of or new???

I have been a bad blogger with the only excuse that I have been to busy, sick or tired to take any new pictures. but I do have this lovely shot of my favorite subject from a short while ago.
of course over the weekend we have had a bit of warm weather if you call mid 40's warm and all the snow has just about disappeared. of course I am not disappointed. Snow is pretty in the winter on the trees and such but on the streets no not in the least.
