i spy with my little eye

this is the beautiful Mormon tabernacle building in Logan. took a little walk around the area and around the back side I spied, well actually the person with me did, something around the back side up high.

If you said a plane you are correct what gave it away the spots on the window or the wing??

the picture is of the great salt lake in Utah. Actually took the picture on Sunday but didn't have a chance to upload it till today. Drove from salt lake to Logan. Here for a work conference so not much off time.

But the picture below is from today as we were walking back to our hotel room from the evenings activities about 830 at night. we had some crazy rain and a great rainbow which started to disappear by the time i dragged the camera out of my purse.

week of june 7th Logan Utah

well I took a few more pictures then I used on my day to day blog so thought I would add them here. One night I was out for my walk and I noticed this storm cloud


it kept getting worse and worse and I thought hmmm best head back but stopped to take a few more shots.
by the time I was taking these it was thundering and lightening but no rain and I was only half way back to my room.
I did make it safely back and it poured buckets and buckets for about 1/2 hour.

Later in the week I was able to get a shot of the Aggie tower at night.

well we are headed out of town and back home. yeah. Loved the conference and learned a lot. But it is always good to be home with family. I will miss the lovely foothills of Logan.

there is that Mormon temple again. Same shot as yesterday but this time in the day light. I took many walks on campus at night. that is when it wasn't raining.

I was very fascinated by this Mormon temple. and you will see it in many of my shots. sure wished I would have had a tripod or something to be more still to get a clearer night shot of it.

Sunset was gorgeous at least one night while there. It mostly rained the whole week we were in Logan. The second shot I found while walking the campus and wished I would have found it earlier when the sun was setting like above. I wanted to go back another night but alas the weather did not allow for that. Logan sits in a valley called Cache valley. Named after fur traders who use to hide there stash or cache there.

Well I took off on an airplane with a couple of other people from various office in the city and headed to Logan Utah. About an hour and half from Salt lake city on the campus of Utah State university the above a shot of what I see looking out my little window. We are here for a database users conference. to learn lots of new tricks, report writing and all kinds of fun stuff to make hopefully everyone in our offices lives easier.



was suppose to share a room with another gal but she had to cancel at the last minute so that meant the whole room all to myself. what to do what to do.
