this is a shot from the pow wow and I just fell in love with her face.  such pride and beauty in who she is.  Not a perfect shot but had to share.

smile even if you don't feel like it

on  a recent long walk I saw this funny little face put into a tree.  It was a long walk/run 10 miles that day.  in preparation for another 1/2 marathon in Vegas in December.  It made me smile and made me push through the next few miles.

today's song is one that you listen to when you are angry.  well I don't get angry often but when I am having a bad day at work I flip on this YouTube and it always makes me smile.  opps there is your first hint.

the photo is of a clay sculpture we have in our living room.  I loved the way the light was shining up on his face but to make it more interesting I added a texture by bliss and holly to it
