1,500,000 butterlfies


It is January and no there are no butterflies here in this cold  and certainly not 1.5 million of them.  But I did host a small butterfly swap for a reason.  the holocaust museum is hosting a project and needs to get 1,500,000 butterflies to represent the children that died in the holocaust.  I decided to make a photo collage of the butterlies my group made in photoshop.  not that happy with the results but then again I am still learning photoshop so I guess ok.

It will be a beautiful exhibit to represent a most horrid crime against our fellow humans.

criteria is listed on their website as well but here is some of the criteria:
•Butterflies should be no larger than 8 inches by 10 inches.

•Butterflies may be of any medium the artist chooses, but two-dimensional submissions are preferred.

•Glitter and all glitter-related products should not be used.

•Food products (cereal, macaroni, candy, marshmallows or other perishables) also should not be used.
