reflective

korean memorial

i love how this one shows the soldier looking into the reflective wall.  the wall has many facets of the war, the people and the machines that happened during that time computer etched into it.  below is only a small section of the wall.

I have heard two different terms for this part of the FDR memorial Soup line and Bread line not sure which is most accurate. It depicts the depression era of FDR's term in service.  I found another reference for infromation on the memorial here

I hate war

this is part of the FDR memorial in Washington dc.  It was one of my favorite stops on our trip.  made up of several rooms depicting the different terms and symbolizing how they went while he was the president.  I had an excellent guide that told me many facts about the memorial.    the rocks are meant to symbolize the break of the country by the war.    for more information on the memorial check out THIS website as well as the one above.
