happy thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours.  Hoping everyone is enjoy family and friends and a good meal

Above are the pumpkin pies hubby made for dinner tonight

pumpkin seeds

the first cut is always the most painful

but the fruits of the labor await inside

a the juicy goodness awaiting its next step

boiled and salted now ready for baking

DONE.  I love cooked pumpkin seeds.  How about you??? does anyone do them differently?

oh yeah he doesn't look to happy to be dissected does he?
