Leaving the north pole

Time to say goodbye to santa so he can continue to get ready for christmas eve.  By now we are soaked but enjoying every minute of it.

(note to self next purchase will be a camera hood to help keep the rain off it.  rain in the lens did give this shot a bit of a bokeh effect though that I liked)

santa says dash away dash away dash away all

sunset goodbyes

well time to leave Florida it was a great two week vacation and even longer blog posts. thanks for sharing in my fun

In almost every scrapbook I have made of my travels the last page is always a sunset so I thought it fitting that my last Florida post be a sunset.

taken while we were on board the carnival legend somewhere in the water.

roatan

Roatan is a gorgeous place. Unspoiled yet from to many tourists.
A snorkeler and scuba divers dream.

the man made beach is gorgeous but the west end beach (above with snorkelers) is even better.

Leaving the bay you can see ship wrecks and a taste of the colors of the reefs below.

I don't know why but I love the trail of the boat as we leave places. this was the last of our stops on the cruise. Headed home with a whole day at sea that ended up being 6 hours longer due to some engine problems that took a few hours longer to get to Tampa. But that was ok with us more food and relax time.

towel art

Anyone that has been on a carnival cruise before knows and looks forward to the towel art that will be in their room after dinner. the beds are drawn, mints are out and the animals are there waiting to tuck you into bed at night. truly something I could get use to every night.

Now some animals are harder then others to guess can you guess what each of these are?? I will put a list at the end.

Interested in trying this yourself?? here are some links:
