purple flowers

not sure what type of flowers these are they were all over the moutain near mt bachelor.  And they were purple so of course I had to share them.

mt bachelor

near bend, Oregon.  only time for a drive up and around the mountain this trip but she is a beauty.  I bet there are a lot of great hiking trails in there.

our one and only siting of mt bachelor.  the rain clouds parted for just a few minutes and we spotted it on our way back to the room so we pulled off to the side of the road and snapped a quick shot.



hopefully the next time around we can see her a bit more clearly

we hit hazy days most of the time we were down in oregon but this is another shot of mt hood as seen about 60 miles from redmond oregon. 

Hazy was nothing to what we drove home in.  4 hours of 40 and up winds and dust storms for 100 miles not fun. 

there is a lake out there can you see it???

even the seagulls didn't want to fly
