hubby totally woke up and looked outside and said WTF!!! I couldn't believe it 3 inches of snow in April. some places got 6 and some places received NONE. My work had nothing I was like hey who pissed off mother nature on the north side anyhow??
where did the candy go??? Every year mom makes up baskets for her 3 grand kids one of which is my son that is 18. they look forward to this and my dad thinks everyone is to old but mom loves to do it. hey you are never to old for Santa Claus or the Easter bunny right??
Today my dad, brother Paul, hubby and I drove to Palouse falls. Its about 2 hours away from home. You have to drive through cow pastures and farm land most of which is wheat and grasses. Its this enormous waterfall that comes from the Palouse river. Its unusual in that most of what you see on the drive is flat lands and some rolling hills you wouldn't expect to find a river in the middle of this. this land was originally carved out millions of years ago by several ice flows that broke loose in Missoula Montana and then flooded the area. The soil is rich from the basalt rock that lies beneath it and over time has broken down. Perfect farm land.
well this is blurry crud hate that little camera. Not only never really happy with the pictures or is it I am just spoiled by the other camera. Anyhow not only never really happy with the pictures but can never see if they are blurry. but look back to the land of the living. YEAHH no headache.
a little bit of spring yeah. check out the helicopters (maple leaf pods) they are EVERYWHERE I will have a million trees by summer. ugh. lots of clean up. poor tulips are just now starting to come up with the greens
No face picture since my sinus flared up I look horrid. but look at those dirty hands even in gloves they got filthy. nothing like a little dirt under the fingernails to show you spring has arrived.
Errand day. One of which included taking Duncan to get groomed. Doesn't look like the same dog does it??

April fools day. A cold and dreary day especially after coming back from the warmth of Vegas. The spring run off is starting to pick up. Mother nature played a little joke on us. She let it snow. Ok now enough is enough time for some real spring weather
our mini trip is over. It was good to get away together. Sad to go home to the cold weather too. the coldest its been was 67 and the warmest it has been at home is 37 not fun. oh well. 
Did some hotel sight seeing today. gesh choosing a photo is tough. Some days you don't like what you have and some days you like to much. The butterfly is from the Bellagio hotel in Vegas, as well as the picture of me today.
On our visit to Vegas we rented a car and headed to the valley of fire. the red rocks were awesome. we hiked around for about 4 hours. It was the highlight of Dave's trip.
well I just had to add a second photo for the 365. On our way back from the valley of fire we got a call from Dave's niece and she was in Vegas for the day. It was an awesome surprise so we met up with her at Mandalay bay and had a few drinks and lots of talk together. She was with some friends of hers and they wanted to try the minus 5 below bar. Everything was made from Ice including the glasses that held our apple martinis. Truly a fun experience made hundred times better because of her visit.

We tried to bring in a small point and shoot to get a picture of the stage but they took it from us. Should have just brought the big one and this would have turned out better. oh well.
